This may look like a bunch of fancy words to you, but all in all, everything boils down
to continuous work with all components of the impression. The certification process
allows us to systematically and continuously define, propose and implement im-
provements. Once you have fulfilled your objective, you get a certificate that is
your proof of the quality assurance of your first impression. However, this is not
the end – the process will continue rolling to ensure that you can maintain the
level you have achieved, ward off any changes and refine the details.
THE PROCESS ALWAYS STARTS WITH MR. X
To get an accurate print of your current situation, we arrange a visit to your
company. We send an expert with special training who draws up a comprehensive
picture of your first impression and the experience from the visit.
Things we pay attention to include the location of the office, parking options, staircases,
lifts, signs, design of the reception desk, treatment, knowledge about the visitor, wardrobe,
waiting area, toilets, meeting ingredients, coffee experience, meeting room, etc. etc. To be
able to repeat the assessment after implementing the measures, we conduct an assessment
based on a standard template. The result is an unbiased report without recommendations that
paves the way for the following step.
PRIORITY LIST
The report makes it easy to arrange the necessary actions according to their priority. Urgent actions take
precedence, while others follow in their respective order. We come up with advice for you only after we
get properly acquainted with all the factors that affect the planning of the modification work.
RESEARCH
The next step towards the action plan is getting to know your organisation and analysing your situation.
We do all this so we can arrive at the right proposal and solutions. We get acquainted with your existing
strategies, get to know your identity, get familiar with the brand platform, survey the surroundings and
meet key personnel. This stage is also about getting a grasp of and about being inspired by trends and
technical developments that can help us make sure that the project is as innovative and creative as
possible.
ACTION PLAN
This is the stage where we draw up specific proposals and solutions, whether minor isolated actions or
comprehensive overall concepts, which are presented in words and images and are assigned a price.
The objective is to always create a first impression, a treatment and a visit and brand experience that
make a difference.
For example:
• We prepare routines, manuals, policies, dress codes and checklists.
• We formulate and describe flow and logistics solutions.
• We present design concepts, drawings, furnishing and technical solutions.
• We develop specifications for production and implementation.
• We present and offer coffee solutions and other meeting ingredients.
• We take stock of staffing and competence and identify needs, if any.
• We educate, train and coach the employees.
We cooperate only with carefully selected consultants, suppliers and producers. Common denominators
include creativity, innovativeness, quality, design and know-how at the highest level. Environmental
awareness and responsible manufacturing are a matter of course. We have vast experience in
purchasing that we would love to share with you.
A prepared priority list and action plan provide a specific decision basis of what should be done and in
what order.
IMPLEMENTATION
The defined target solutions and actions in the example are prepared and implemented over a period
of twelve months. We make sure that this is done according to specification and take part in follow-up
and continuous reconciliation. If so desired by the customer, we can also be involved as project
managers of the implementation all the way until the objective is achieved to ensure top-notch quality
of all aspects of the final result.
Whatever role you choose for us, remember that we are always at your side and that we are always
open and ready to quickly and flexibly fine-tune the details in the course of the work.
Follow-up and quality assurance are integral elements of the process, which is why we continuously
appraise the certification process. With Mr. X's help, we conduct standardised measurements so we
can always give feedback on what works well and what can be improved. In certain cases, changes
in existing prerequisites may necessitate revisions of the action plan.
Implementation always kicks off with our “First Impression Manager” basic training, which is aimed
at everyone who plays a role in generating the first impression. Coaching of colleagues and network
meetings for inspiration and further training are recurring elements in the process.
DEFINITION OF OBJECTIVE/CERTIFICAITON
We define the objective of the certification process together with you by describing what your first
impression should look like. We assess when the objective has been met, which is also when we
award our certificate, which is proof that everyone involved is doing a wonderful job –
Certified First Impression.
Example of what the certification
process can look like during the
first year. Subsequent adjustments
are always made based on each
organisation's unique prerequisites
and opportunities.
