ABOUT THE FIRST IMPRESSION COMPANY

 

The First Impression Company has many years of experience in a range of service industries, including hotel/restaurant, HR/staffing, office coffee service, concept/design, and surveys. By combining our skills into an overall concept, we are able assist other businesses focus on and improve the first impression they make. We offer companies the opportunity of purchasing a complete solution or (if desired) one or more of the following components:

 

1. Receiving visitors the First Impression way: Training, hiring, or recruiting certified candidates

2. Concept for and design of the reception and common areas: Consultation and (where relevant)

    procurement of the solution

AS A FIRST IMPRESSION MANAGER, YOU RECEIVE TRAINING AND GET YOUR OWN NETWORK

 

Basic Training:

 

• Hosting

• Procedures and Checklists

• Profile Analysis

• Coffee Break Science

• Corporate Identity

 

You are presented to our clients as a First Impression Manager to ensure their “First Impression” is positive. You represent the brand, and YOU make a difference. You work at client premises and are part of our network together with a number of other First Impression Managers. With them, you will continually gain further inspiration by way of lectures, coffee and drink tastings, and similar events.

Each employment situation is linked to a customer assignment, but we do allow our clients to recruit an individual we supplied. You may therefore be offered a permanent job when the terms are mutually agreeable.

 

YOUR TASKS

 

Specific tasks may vary depending on the type of business you are hired out to support. Each company will have its own detailed job description, but generally speaking, you will take responsibility for the components of the reception area and the activities that are always meant to be representative of the company. You will be the client’s “face” and therefore be responsible for the experience guests have from start to finish. In addition, you will act as a go-to person for your colleagues in other departments. It is important that you are proactive and find out what needs to be done.

 

WHO ARE YOU?

 

What drives you is a desire to make a difference, to exceed expectations, and to hear people say you are invaluable.

The role is broad, and you will be expected to be flexible, unpretentious, service minded, and adept at managing stressful situations. We would prefer that you have experience in the service industry or in a receptionist role, but that is not a requirement. You pay attention to quality and enjoy being the first person customers encounter when they arrive at the company. You are responsible, resourceful, and used to having many different tasks going on at the same time. You are always one step ahead and recognise opportunities to support and assist your colleagues. You are on the lookout for solutions as to the way the company responds to and greets its visitors. You are fluent in English and Swedish – verbally and in writing – and you are an experienced user of the Internet and Office packages.
